A walk and a bus ride - Selegie Road, Stamford Road and Holland Road

Wandering into a huge building that was the CIMB Bank of Malaysia along Selegie Road for the first time, I was impressed by the spaciousness and the decor.

Chinese New Year decorations.
A gigantic mirror above us.

Heliconia painting of  Heliconia flowers in the lobby of a service apartment.
The side of the service apartment.

Elias Building 1930. I always like to photograph this building.
Row of old shophouses adjacent to the Peranakan Museum. See how one young man waited for the traffic lights to change.

Part of the Singapore Management University (SMU) buildings.
I had to wait a while for these shots because I did not want cars in the foreground.

Three young men in interesting outfits.
The only outdoor escalator I know of in Singapore leading to Fort Canning Park right next to the National Museum.

The SMU study/eating area.

The National Museum of Singapore.
Bus ride near Dhoby Ghaut.

Building where the young hang out.
Trees and buildings along Orchard Boulevard.

Seen from the smudgy window pane of the bus.

Tanglin Mall.

My shopping bag.
Going towards Sixth Avenue along Holland Road.

Turning into Sixth Avenue.

Taken with my new toy - the Casio Exilim! Everyone of my girl friends who saw this camera loves it, especially the colour. I like bus rides too because there are always seats available compared with the MRT. So Alice you can see Singapore by taking bus rides like me. It will save you a lot of walking and yet you will be entertained with a camera in hand.
