Marina Bay Sands Hotel facade




The Marina Bay Sands Hotel has in its collection a 6,800 sq meter stainless steel and anodized aluminium installation that responds accordingly to the force and intensity of wind blowing onto its surface. The wind becomes the artist whipping up a fiery storm at its peak and creating graceful ripples when it is a gentle breeze. This gigantic piece of artwork comprises 260,000 aluminium flappers that provide a sumptuous visual treat that reflect the presence of of nature that we often take for granted. See my video here>>>>

I took a video of it too. It looked like they are moving. Singapore is looking more beautiful everyday.
