The first three photos are of houses along Everton Road. We had wanted to explore this road but because we could not find a parking space we went further down Neil Road and were fortunate to find a parking lot next to a coffee shop at the beginning of Spottiswoode Park Road.
The houses in Blair Plain are Peranakan in architecture. They are very well preserved and unlike the conserved buildings in Chinatown where the main tenants are commercial in nature, these houses are mostly privately owned. We caught glimpses of the interior of some of these houses and they really make home seem like heaven on earth.
