When we reached Pekan Quarry, we were rewarded with what we had never expected to see on this visit to Pulau Ubin. It was good enough for us to be admiring the lush greenery and the gardens of the residents on the island. Life is full of surprises!

that fruit could be a type of passionfruit (Passiflora). glad you found the quarry. It used to be called Ho Man Choo after the owner and according to some guides, there is an entire 'village' of the old mine buildings etc..... at the bottom of the pool.
