Waterloo Street

I was walking along Waterloo Street towards the Singapore Art Museum when I came across these graceful bamboo branches that drew me to the quiet backyard of a church where a bamboo grove sheltered me from the sweltering heat for a while. I am discovering the joy of painting bamboos these days and the sight of bamboos anywhere always make me stop to admire and attempt to study their complicated structure.
